Family Man, Actor And Rap Artist Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg is one of the most versatile rappers today. He is not only a successful musician, but he is also a rapper and family man. Snoop Dogg’s rap career started in 1993 when he released the album “Doggystyle.” One of the most popular singles off of the album was “Gin and Juice”. The song hit number one of the U.S. Rap singles chart and peaked at number 8 on the U.S. Hot 100. Snoop Dogg is credited with being one of the founders of a sub-genre of music known as gangster rap. Gangster rap is controversial, but has retained its popularity over the years.
Snoop Dogg has also made appearances in several movies. Some of those movies include: Baby Boy, Half Baked, The Wash, Boss N’ Up and Malibu’s Most Wanted. He is currently working on a film entitled “The Roast of Donald Trump”, which is expected to be released sometime this year.
Snoop Dogg is married to his wife Shante’ and has three children Cordell, Corde and Cori. He filed for divorce from his wife in 2004, but they later reconciled and renewed their vows.
